1980-1990

Various trips to the great art collections of Europe, again and again to Venice, the Serenissima. Continuation of spatially expressive realism in tree imagery and undergrowth. Return to gestural painting in the middle of the 80's. Dissolution of the compact cliff faces, transformation of realistic undergrowth structures to colorful woven lines. Intensified shift towards dynamic rhythms, compositions that symbolize historical or mythological battles but reflect as well the impact of current events on Moser. Layering of earlier motifs which, through flickering line structure, merge into one theme.

1990-1997

Heightening of coloristic expression as well as line expressiveness. Burlesque and macabre scenes. New central motifs : La Chute des Idoles, Pont Alexandre. All of his themes from the Jardin des Plantes through the open houses to the Chute des Idoles appear in the dynamic and richly baroque pastels produced since 1993. Through the distance of his memory he presents them as scenes of the great world theater passing in front of the viewer in ghostly parade or festive procession.

19-12-1997: sudden death by stroke.
