1950-1960

Moser lives in Paris and Ronco. Becomes a leading member of Tachisme in Paris, defended by the critics Roger van Gindertael and Charles Estienne. From the outset Moser's gestural abstract painting of the 50's differentiates itself from that of the 2d. Ecole de Paris in its expressiveness. His trademark 'Tache" is a dynamic palette knife stroke uniting two or three contrasting tones. With that he builds a rhythm across the surface, constructs spaces wgich become maws, abysses. Through this shimmer cathedrals, buildings, urban architecture, mythological and historical scenes as well as landscape impressions.
