OF WILFRID MOSER

1914-1930
Born June 10, 1914 in Zurich-Enge. His father is a sinologist
and his mother a piano teacher. His paternal grandfather is an
early champion of Albin Zollinger and publishes children's literature.
As a result of his father's teaching positions at European universities
the young Wilfrid becomes familiar with various European cities
and their culture. The Zurich artists Otto Meyer-Amden, Otto Baumberger,
Albert Pfister, Henri Wabel frequent his parent's Zurich home.

Influenced
by his personal and literary experiences, travel impressions as
well as exhibition visits he creates children's drawings with
an unusual sense of color and poetry (Zoos, cityscapes from 1001
Nights, Skater, etc.). Some of these are published in Schweizer
Spiegel in 1930.
